Passing
Players who have the confidence they can deliver passes that have the required timing, accuracy and vision to be successful are the foundations of the strongest teams.
In order for players to be able to move the ball confidently and quickly they must be able to do so from both sides of their body using both feet with appropriate power and accuracy.
The pitch size and distances are age dependent as lain out in local FA guidelines.
White Grade
The players must move the ball from one penalty box to the other, scoring in an empty goal in under a given time. The players must be separated by a minimum of 5m the entire time.
Subsequent progressions to Black Grade
The players are expected to use both feet over greater separations until at black grade they can play all three positions; left, right or centre, using both feet to move the ball from one end to the other of a full size pitch at top speed.
Challenge game

Records; this can be done with all challenges but works very well here.
Players who achieve the time limit then compete to see who can do the most passes within the time limit. Club record goes to the pair who achieve the highest number of passes at that grade, within the time limit.
Top tip
Have the players walk back down the centre no go zone. This way they become an obstruction that the passing players must accommodate in their decision making process.
